Merley is a quiet, green pocket of Dorset with the River Stour, riverside SANG walks and Canford's conservation area all within strolling distance. Canford School, among the country's better-regarded co-educational independents, is around five minutes on foot, and there's a good spread of state primaries and secondaries in and around Wimborne.
