• Trades: Business name, contact name, email, phone number, postcode, website, service areas, and business description.
• Email subscribers: Email address and development name (if provided).
• All visitors: Basic analytics data including pages visited, device type, and approximate location (via Vercel Analytics). We do not use advertising cookies or track you across other websites.

How we use your data

• To match homeowners with suitable local trades based on location, job category, and service area.
• To send job notifications and quotes via email (using Resend) and SMS (using Twilio).
• To send your finishing checklist if you signed up for one.
• To improve the platform using anonymous analytics (Vercel Analytics).
• To contact you about your account or jobs you have posted.

We never sell your data to third parties. We never share your contact details with anyone other than trades you are matched with.

Third-party services

We use the following services to operate the platform:

• Twilio — for sending and receiving SMS messages. Your phone number is shared with Twilio when we send you a text.
• Resend — for sending emails. Your email address is shared with Resend when we send you an email.
• Vercel Analytics — for anonymous website usage statistics. No personal data is collected by Vercel Analytics.
• Cloudinary — for storing images you upload (room photos, job photos, trade portfolio images).

Cookies

We use minimal cookies. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or retargeting. The only cookies we use are:

• Authentication cookies — to keep you logged in to your account.
• Analytics — Vercel Analytics collects anonymous page view data. No personal information is stored in cookies.

How long we keep your data

We keep your account data for as long as your account is active. Job postings and messages are kept for 12 months after the job is completed or cancelled. You can request deletion at any time.

Under UK GDPR, you have the right to:
