What MyNewHomeHub is

MyNewHomeHub is a free online platform that helps people who have bought or are buying a new-build home find trusted local trades for finishing work — things like blinds, decorating, fitted wardrobes, landscaping, and more.

We also provide tools and guides to help you plan and budget for finishing your new home, including an AI room designer and a snagging checklist.

Free to use

MyNewHomeHub is completely free for homeowners. You can post jobs, receive quotes, use our AI tools, and browse inspiration without paying anything.

For trades, registration is free. We may introduce optional paid features in the future, but we will always offer a free tier.

We are a matching platform

MyNewHomeHub connects homeowners with independent trade businesses. We are not a contractor, employer, or agent for any trade listed on the platform.

We are not responsible for the quality, timeliness, or outcome of any work carried out by trades found through our platform. Any agreement you make with a trade is between you and that business directly.

We encourage you to check references, request proof of insurance, and agree on terms in writing before any work begins.

Trades are independent businesses

Every trade on MyNewHomeHub is an independent business. They set their own prices, availability, and terms. We review trade applications before approving them, but this is not a guarantee of quality or reliability.

"Vetted" on our platform means the trade has been reviewed and approved by our team. It does not mean we have verified their qualifications, insurance, or work history in detail. We recommend you do your own due diligence.

No guarantee of quotes or responses

When you post a job, we will attempt to match you with suitable local trades. However, we cannot guarantee that any trades will respond, provide quotes, or be available for your job.

Response times and availability depend on the trades in your area and the nature of your job. We aim to connect you with up to 3 trades within 48 hours, but this is an estimate, not a guarantee.

Your content

When you upload photos, post job descriptions, or leave reviews, you retain ownership of your content. By posting it on MyNewHomeHub, you give us permission to display it on the platform and use it to match you with trades.

We may remove content that is offensive, misleading, or violates these terms.

AI tools

Our AI tools (room designer, snagging checklist, finishing quiz) are provided for inspiration and guidance only. AI-generated designs, cost estimates, and recommendations are approximate and should not be relied upon as professional advice.

Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions about your home based on AI-generated content.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Post false or misleading information.
• Use the platform for any illegal purpose.
• Harass or abuse other users, trades, or our team.
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute content from the platform without permission.
• Create multiple accounts to circumvent any limits.

We reserve the right to suspend or remove accounts that violate these terms.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we will notify registered users by email. Continued use of the platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
