Desborough, at a glance

Schools, transport, what’s nearby.

Desborough offers the perfect blend of village charm and modern convenience. The town sits strategically between Market Harborough and Kettering, with excellent road links via the A14 and A6, making commutes to Leicester, Northampton, and even London manageable. Local primary schools include Loatlands Primary School and Havelock Primary, while secondary options include Havelock Community College. For daily essentials, you'll find a Tesco Express, Co-op, and various independent shops along the High Street. The nearby Rockingham Castle and surrounding countryside provide beautiful walking opportunities, while Market Harborough offers more extensive shopping and dining options just a short drive away. Regular bus services connect to larger towns, and Kettering railway station provides direct trains to London St Pancras in under an hour, making this an ideal location for both local living and commuter convenience.
