Transport is a real strength: the A120 links straight to the M11 at Junction 8, and Stansted Airport is minutes away, with trains from Stansted Airport station reaching London Liverpool Street in around 50 minutes. Bishop's Stortford station offers faster services to the capital. For shopping, there's a Tesco Express in the village, larger supermarkets in Great Dunmow and Bishop's Stortford, and a good spread of pubs and independent restaurants locally, including traditional village pubs and the wider choice in historic Dunmow.
