Schools, transport, what’s nearby.

Saltash enjoys a prime location bridging Cornwall and Devon, with Plymouth's city centre just a 20-minute drive away. The town sits beautifully beside the River Tamar, offering lovely waterfront walks and the historic Royal Albert Bridge as a stunning backdrop. Local schools include Saltash Community School and several well-regarded primary schools within easy reach. The A38 provides excellent transport links to both Plymouth and deeper into Cornwall, while Saltash railway station connects residents to the national rail network. For daily shopping, Lidl and Co-op serve the local community, with Plymouth's major retail parks nearby for larger purchases. The town centre features traditional pubs, independent shops, and cafés, while the nearby waterfront areas offer scenic dining options. Kingsmill Lake provides lovely walking opportunities, and the South West Coast Path is easily accessible for weekend adventures along Cornwall's dramatic coastline.
