Commuting is straightforward — the A47 runs east–west for Norwich and Great Yarmouth, while Brundall and Lingwood stations sit on the Wherry Line, putting Norwich station roughly fifteen minutes away by train, with London Liverpool Street services from there. Day-to-day shopping is covered by village Co-ops and a Roys store, with larger supermarkets and retail parks on Norwich's eastern fringe. For eating out, village pubs like The King's Head and The Yare do proper Sunday lunches, and Norwich itself offers an excellent independent restaurant scene, the Lanes, the market and Norwich City at Carrow Road.
