Schools, transport, what’s nearby.

Little Hulton sits in the north-west corner of Salford, a former mining and mill district that has steadily turned residential while keeping a good deal of green space around it. Walkden, just down the road, provides the main shopping and everyday services for this part of the borough, with a mix of high-street names, independent cafés and a few decent pubs. Blackleach Country Park is close by for lakeside walks and birdwatching, and the Bridgewater Canal towpath at Worsley — along with the restored Worsley Delph and the striking RHS Garden Bridgewater — is an easy outing on a free afternoon. The A580 East Lancashire Road runs south of the development, linking directly towards Manchester in one direction and Liverpool in the other, with the M61 and M60 close enough to make wider travel straightforward. Golf, unsurprisingly, is part of the local fabric here, with the course that lends the development its name right on the doorstep and several more within a short drive.
