Harpole is a genuine Northamptonshire village, with a primary school (Harpole Primary), a village hall, a couple of pubs and a strong community feel — the annual Harpole Scarecrow Festival is a local fixture. For secondary education, families typically look towards Campion School in Bugbrooke and the schools in Duston and Northampton, alongside the town's independent options. Everyday shopping is easy: Sixfields retail park is a short drive with a large supermarket, cinema and chain restaurants, while Weedon and Northampton town centre add independent cafés, delis and the Royal & Derngate theatre. The M1 at Junction 16 is only minutes away, making Milton Keynes, Rugby and Coventry straightforward drives.
