Queens Reach

Daresbury is a genuinely rural pocket of Cheshire countryside that happens to sit minutes from the motorway network. The village is best known as the birthplace of Lewis Carroll, commemorated in the stained glass at All Saints' Church, while Sci-Tech Daresbury and its landmark laboratory tower give the area a modern scientific identity. The Bridgewater Canal threads through nearby Moore, with towpath walks and the woodland and lakes of Moore Nature Reserve close by for weekend wandering. Day-to-day shopping is straightforward, with a Lidl under a mile off and Warrington's larger town centre, markets and retail parks a short drive north. The nearest primary school is Moore Primary School, around half a mile away, and there's a GP surgery roughly a mile from the development. Runcorn East station is a little over a mile and a half away, with trains running towards Chester in one direction and Manchester in the other, and the M56 is close at hand. Stockton Heath's village-style high street, with its independent cafés and pubs, is a popular local draw.
