Bargeddie is a small village on the western edge of North Lanarkshire, popular with Glasgow commuters who still want a bit of breathing space. Bargeddie Primary is close at hand, with further primary and secondary options in neighbouring Baillieston, Coatbridge and Uddingston. Transport is the big draw: Bargeddie railway station is roughly a five-minute drive, giving direct services into Glasgow, while the M8 and M73 are both within a couple of minutes for drivers, and regular buses run along the main routes. Drumpellier Country Park, Bargeddie and Drumpellier golf clubs and the Monkland Canal paths give plenty of green space on the doorstep.
