Conisbrough is best known for its 12th-century castle keep, which looms over the town and makes for a decent Sunday walk. Families have several options nearby, including Conisbrough Ivanhoe Primary and Balby Central, with De Warenne Academy and a wider choice of secondaries in Doncaster. Conisbrough railway station is on the Sheffield to Doncaster line, putting both cities within a short hop, and the A630 links you to the M18 and M1 for longer journeys. Day to day, there's a Tesco Superstore and Aldi close by, with the larger retail parks and Frenchgate Centre in Doncaster around fifteen minutes away. For eating out, the town has traditional pubs and takeaways, while Doncaster and Rotherham offer far more choice.
