The town has a strong choice of schools, including Greenway Academy and Arunside Primary nearby, plus Millais, Tanbridge House and Forest secondary schools, and The Collyer's sixth form college. Horsham station runs direct services to London Victoria and London Bridge in around an hour, with Gatwick Airport roughly 15 minutes away by train and the A24 and M23 close at hand for drivers. For shopping, there's a large Tesco Extra and Waitrose in town, alongside the Swan Walk centre and Piries Place. The Carfax hosts a regular market, and independent restaurants, pubs and cafés cluster around East Street — locally nicknamed 'Eat Street'. Horsham Park, the Capitol arts centre and the South Downs beyond make weekends easy.
