Egerton Park

Altrincham has transformed over the past decade, largely thanks to Altrincham Market and the independent food hall that anchors Greenwood Street. Around it you'll find well-regarded restaurants, coffee shops and bars, plus a Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury's and Aldi in town and a large Tesco Extra at Broadheath. Schools are a major draw: Altrincham Grammar School for Boys and for Girls, Loreto Grammar and North Cestrian are all within the area, alongside strong primaries such as Navigation, Oldfield Brow and Stamford Park. Transport is excellent. Altrincham Interchange combines Metrolink trams to Manchester city centre, Northern rail services to Piccadilly and Chester, and a bus station, all reachable on foot. The M56 is minutes away, with Manchester Airport roughly a ten-minute drive. For green space there's Stamford Park, Dunham Massey's deer park and the Bridgewater Canal towpath.
