Curborough Fields

Lichfield is a compact, walkable cathedral city with an unusually good mix of history and practicality. The three-spired cathedral, cobbled Market Square and independent cafés sit alongside familiar names in the Three Spires Shopping Centre. For the weekly shop there's a large Tesco Extra at Church Street, Waitrose on Beacon Street and Aldi and Sainsbury's nearby. Families are well served by primary schools including Curborough Primary and Charnwood, with King Edward VI School and Nether Stowe among the secondary options. Lichfield has two railway stations: Lichfield City and Lichfield Trent Valley, giving direct trains to Birmingham New Street in around 35 minutes and onward London services from Trent Valley. The A38 and A5 are close by for the M6 Toll and M42. For eating out, Lichfield punches above its weight — Bore Street and Tamworth Street are lined with restaurants, pubs and bistros, and Beacon Park is a lovely green space just a short walk from the centre.
