Cala at Hampton Lakes

Hampton is one of Peterborough's newer neighbourhoods and has grown up with its own amenities. Families have a good choice of primary schools in Hampton Vale, Hampton Hargate and Hampton Centre, with Ormiston Meadows Academy and the well-regarded secondary options in the wider city within reach. Serpentine Green shopping centre is the nearby retail hub, anchored by a large Tesco Extra, with an Asda, Aldi and Lidl elsewhere around the south of the city, plus cafés, a cinema and chain restaurants at Hampton and Peterborough's riverside. For journeys further afield, the A1(M) and A605 are close by, and Peterborough railway station puts London King's Cross around 50 minutes away, with fast services to Cambridge, Leicester and the north. The real draw, though, is the green space: lakes, parkland and trails link into the Nene Valley and the wider Cambridgeshire Fens, making it an easy area for walking, running and cycling.
