Chilwell is a settled, leafy suburb around five miles south-west of Nottingham city centre, popular with families for good reason. Well-regarded primary schools and secondary options including Alderman White School and Chilwell School are within easy reach, and the University of Nottingham campus is a short drive away. The NET tram runs from nearby stops straight into the city, while Beeston railway station offers direct trains to Nottingham, Derby and beyond; the A52 and M1 (Junction 25) make wider travel straightforward. For everyday shopping there's a large Sainsbury's and Tesco nearby, plus Attenborough and Beeston for independents. Beeston town centre is the local hub, with a mix of cafes, pubs and restaurants, a cinema and weekly market. Green space is plentiful too, with Attenborough Nature Reserve, Bramcote Hills Park and the Trent riverside walks all close at hand. Queen's Medical Centre is a short journey for healthcare.
